Matched on HER and nobody's written yet? Screenshot the profile and DateViser writes the first message

HER is the app where the match happens and then both people wait. DateViser is an AI dating assistant that turns a screenshot of a HER profile, a chat or a feed post into a message you can actually send, in the tone you choose. It never connects to your HER account and never sends anything for you.

How DateViser works with HER

  1. Take a screenshot in HER of the profile, the chat or the story you want to answer. DateViser does not open or connect to HER; a screenshot is all it needs.
  2. Upload it and set the boldness slider, anywhere from sweet to daring. The app reads who said what and where the conversation stands.
  3. Copy the reply and send it in HER. Not quite right? Tap "generate more" for a different angle, not the same line reworded.

The first message, when both of you are waiting

The most common HER conversation is the one that never starts. Neither person wants to send "hey", so nobody sends anything. HER profiles are rich in material (interests, a written bio, the "I'm looking for" line, sometimes a feed post), and DateViser writes an opener from one of them:

  • Your interests list has both "hiking" and "staying in", which is the most honest profile on this app. Which one is winning this weekend?
  • You wrote that you'd move to Lisbon tomorrow. Serious plan or Sunday-evening daydream?
  • The bookshelf in your third photo is doing a lot of talking. What's the one on top?

Screenshot the profile with the interests and bio visible. Interests give better openers than photos alone.

Replying to a feed post or a story

HER's feed is the low-pressure way in: you react to something they posted, not to them. A sentence about the post starts a conversation; a heart on its own does not. DateViser reads the screenshot and writes a reply about what is actually in it:

  • That coffee looks like it has a strong opinion about Mondays.
  • Okay, where is this, and is it worth the queue I'm assuming exists?
  • Your post about the community night: how was it, and are you going to the next one?

Keeping it going when it gets polite

HER chats are often warm and a bit careful, and they can stall in mutual politeness: "how's your week?", "good, yours?". DateViser writes a message that stays kind and adds a real topic, so the conversation has somewhere to go:

  • Week's good, mostly arguing with a plant. More interesting: your bio says you bake. What's the one thing you make when you want to impress someone?
  • New question, because I've been staring at your hiking photo: who took it, and were they also lost?
  • Two truths and a lie, but only about food. Go.

Upload the whole chat. The reply is better when it can pick up something you both mentioned earlier.

From chat to a plan

HER users tell us the hardest message is the one that suggests meeting, because nobody wants to be the one who pushed. DateViser writes a concrete, easy-to-accept suggestion that leaves room for a no:

  • You've now recommended two coffee places. I think the only fair test is Saturday afternoon. Your pick, and no pressure if the week's full.
  • There's a queer film night on Thursday and I've decided it's a sign. Want to go?
  • I'd like to keep talking about this somewhere with better chairs. Coffee this week?

Frequently asked questions

Does DateViser connect to my HER account?

No. DateViser never logs in to HER, never sees your matches, feed or messages, and never sends anything. You take a screenshot inside HER, upload it to DateViser and copy the reply back yourself.

What is a good first message on HER?

One line about something specific in their profile: an interest, a line from the bio, a detail in a photo or a feed post. It should be answerable in a sentence. Avoid "hey" and anything about their looks; a small question about something they chose to share works best.

Is DateViser written for queer women and non-binary people too?

The replies are written from the screenshot, so they follow whatever the conversation is: names, pronouns and context come from what is on screen, not from assumptions. Pick the tone, and if a line does not sound like you, edit it before sending; the goal is a better version of your own message.

What if neither of us has written after matching?

Send the first message. On HER the match that gets a specific, friendly opener almost always gets a reply, because the other person was waiting for exactly that. Screenshot the profile and let DateViser write it from one of their interests.

Does it work in my language?

Yes. DateViser writes in the language of the conversation you upload. The app itself is in six languages (English, Turkish, Spanish, French, Portuguese and German); the replies follow whatever language is in the screenshot.

How much does it cost?

DateViser is free to download and free to try: a little time with your counselor and a few screenshot replies each week, and the opener library is always free. Premium gives you more of both. The price for your country, and any free trial, is shown in the app before you subscribe.
